Victorians & Edwardians At Play: "How The West Was Fun"

Don't miss this year's historic fashion show and brunch at the Strater Hotel's Henry Strater Theatre. This is one of our event's most popular activities!  "Victorians & Edwardians at Play: How the West Was Fun" will be the show's theme for 2012.   The show will be comprised of scenes based on daytime and evening entertainments enjoyed by the Victorians and Edwardians, such as bicycling, promenading to "see and be seen", swimming, picnicking and playing croquet and badminton, skiing, dinner parties, recitations and dancing.

Once again our local Victorian group, Mrs. Camp's Town Ladies & Gents, will provide the majority of the show's models.   This will be a light-hearted approach to providing a bit of education about Victorian and Edwardian costuming and life.   We never take ourselves all that seriously!

Pricing will be determined later in the planning process.  Reservations will be required in advance. One check can be sent for both the Ball and the Fashion Show. A Brunch will be served during this event. Alcohol may be purchased separately at this event.
